So I guess we can now rewrite the Declaration of Independence to say "Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness" and SCREW YOU, you now are mandated to buy insurance or else!!!
Please let me indulge you with some thoughts regarding this all encompassing issue.
I have said it before and I will say it again if this passes this will fundamentally change your relationship with the government.
Also, and I want you to think about this. There is no way the founders would have endorsed this agenda. Obama is now deciding who is successful and to what level of income a person can make before they are considered evil, what cars a company can make, what kind of light bulbs you can buy, what kind of energy the entire can country can produce and now we are now forced to buy insurance.
All in the name of transformation! Do the Obama supporters out there still feel good about transforming the country anymore?
Every single poll in every single market does not want this passed. Town hall after town hall you, the citizens of this country have spoken out in opposition of this bill. Quoting Obama " I don't see how another year of negotiations would help." Let me remind Obama that there has been NO negotiations save the deals Obama made with Big Pharma, AMA, AARP, unions and drug companies, to get their support for this bill.
Obama had his chance when he had a super majority and still he could not get this passes. Why? The people rose up in opposition that's why. Never forget that this is the same bill that was in place 6months ago, 3months ago, 3 weeks ago. Nothing changed!!! I don't care how many white coated props Obama put up behind him. Its still the same shitty bill.
Let me ask you, was it the 30th, 31th,32nd, 33rd or 34th Obama "HOPE HUG" speech about health care that changed this pile of crap into a passable bill. Or has the official "let's make a deal" sign placed in front of Pelosi's, Reid's and Obama's office that will change this into a passable bill? Your pick, either way we lose.
In evidence of the bribery going on in the Obama administration. One on the fence Democrat congressman's brother just happened to be nominated for a federal Judge ship.
What a coincidence??? Well we just nominated your brother how about your support for my bill. Talk about Chicago style politics. TALK ABOUT A LOAD OF CRAP!!! Was this not one of the very same reasons that the average Obama voter hated about the past administrations. But here we are, this is the America Obama wants and you helped achieve.
What worries me the most that if Obama got his way and passed everything he wanted. Passed every single agenda item he wanted. He would still be back for more. Thank God Scott Brown won otherwise just imagine what might have happened.
The only saving grace is that if this adopted by reconciliation it can be repealed by reconciliation. And this is where I find "HOPE". I feel it in the air, and I hope you do too.
Oh yes change is coming my fellow patriots in elections across the country. We have spoke out and said NO. We will take back the more and more seats in both the house and the senate in the mid terms and in 2012. And yes if you thought the last presidential election were the most important election in years well you just wait until 2012.
On a side note Obama is going to start with immigration "reform", within the next few weeks. My guess this will be yet again something that will be fast tracked needed to be passed right now.
Notice with the Democrats its energy(Cap & Trade), health care(Government controlled), immigration(fast tracking illegals to citizenship). Nothing about jobs and the economy. To underscore this last point, 18% of Obama's stimulus funds have gone to create jobs in CHINA, yes china is benefiting from our tax money.

This is getting out of control. I read Mark Steyn's column where he explains why the dems are still pushing for this. I link to it in a recent blog post on the epplereffect. The dems know they will get hammered in the mid terms. They do not care. Steyn says "the governmentalization of health care is the fastest way to a permanent left-of-center political culture. It redefines the relationship between the citizen and the state in fundamental ways that make limited government all but impossible."
He goes on:
"The short history of the post-war welfare state is that you don’t need a president-for-life if you’ve got a bureaucracy-for-life"
We are in a scary time right now. So much hangs in the balance. I fear for my country. I am uncertain which way things will go, but I remain optimistic that enough Americans have awakened and they will not let the govt get away with this outrage.
